Spheerol EPL 00 grease is a semi-fluid grease which is suitable for centralised lubrication systems and grease filled gearboxes. It incorporates powerful rust inhibitors to protect components against corrosion.
Spheerol EPL 00 is a lithium base general purpose extreme pressure grease, based upon mineral oils and containing extreme pressure agents.
The operating temperature range for this grease lies between -10 °C and + 120 °C.
Typical characteristics:
Consistency grade: NLGI 00
Base oil type: mineral oil
Thickener type: lithium
Base oil viscosity at 40 °C: 150-200 mm2/sec
Worked penetration, 60 strokes at 25 °C: 400-430 (0.1 mm)
Dropping point: 160 °C
Copper corrosion, 24 hours at 100 °C: 1b
Four Ball Wear test, 1 hr/75°C/40kgf: max. 1 mm
