Short term corrosion preventive oil. It is barium- and solvent-free which makes Resilan M 7 ideal for use where solvent and heavy metal containing oils are not acceptable. The protective film remains oily, it does not harden.
The product is especially recommended in cold rolling mills, rod and wire drawing works. Due to good deep drawing properties, it is also suitable for the protection of cold-rolled vehicle body sheets and for light forming operations. Resilan M 7 can also be used as testing liquid for hydraulic equipment as well as leakage testing fluid for gears, pumps and tanks.
Aral Resilan M 7 can be applied by complete immersion, brushing or spraying.
If required the protective film can be easily removed by using a petroleum solvent or alkaline process cleaner.
Oil viscosity at 40 °C: 12 mm2/sec

Film thickness: 2-4 µm
Corrosion protection duration indoor: 4 months
Outdoor storage is not recommended with Resilan M 7.
