SafeCoat 66 is a long-term corrosion preventive oil with vapour-phase corrosion inhibitor to protect parts in hermetically sealed packs.
It has been specifically designed for simultaneously cleaning and protecting ball and roller bearings. It is also suitable for the protection of all types of delicate or highly finished engineering products, particularly those, which contain moving parts and cannot be protected with greasy film coatings.
SafeCoat 66 is free from heavy metals such as barium, and hydrocarbon solvents, hence it complies well with EC Solvent Directive (1999/13/EC).
Corrosion protection in sealed packs: up to 5 years
Corrosion protection in store-rooms: 12 months
Protective film type: oily, thin film
Protective film thickness: 2 µm
Viscosity at 40 °C: 14 mm2/sec
It can be applied by immersion and by spray, but the tank should be covered when not in use.
