Aquasol 2000-1 is a polymer-based, water-soluble quenchant for quenching of steel components in induction or flame hardening applications. It provides a safer working environment by reducing the fire hazard risk.
The advantage of using Aquasol 2000-1 is that it provides a quenching rate which is intermediate between water and oil and which can be varied by altering the concentration.
Aquasol 2000-1 was renamed to CASTROL Iloquench 2000 Aqua.
