CASTROL Molub-Alloy Blanc
Industrial Greases and Pastes
Molub-Alloy Blanc is a white multi-purpose grease for high bearing pressures and long-term lubrication. It provides excellent adhesion, water resistance and sealing effect.
Molub-Alloy Blanc can be applied:
- In the food and beverage industries especially in wet applications, dusty environments or in conveyor tracks, canning and bottling plants or labelling machines.
- For long-term lubrication under high or shock loads and vibration.
- In highly loaded joints.
- In rolling and sliding bearings.
- For the lubrication of tubular tracks.
The temperature range of application is -25 °C (-13 °F) to +130 °C (+266 °F).
Typical characteristics:
Base oil type: mineral oil
Thickener type: lithium
Worked penetration, 60 strokes at 25 °C (77 °F): 280 (0.1 mm)
Dropping point: 190 °C (374 °F)
Water resistance test, DIN 51807-1: 0 change
Copper corrosion, 24 hours at 100 °C (212 °F): 1
Flow pressure at -35 °C (-31 °F): <1200 hPa
Molub-Alloy Blanc was previously called CASTROL Longtime Blanc. Its name was changed in 2015.
