Castrol Hysol SL 37 XBB is a high-performance semi-synthetic soluble metalworking fluid which is designed for steel and aluminium alloys machining. It forms a clear milky emulsion when mixed with water.
This product is formulated without boron and formaldehyde releasing biocides.
Hysol SL 37 XBB contains an additive package that may help to enhance machining performance and surface finish. It also provides excellent product stability which helps to lower the overall operational costs.
Hysol SL 37 XBB also has a wide range of water hardness compatibility.

Grinding: 5 - 7 %
General machining: 5 - 8 %
Drilling, reaming, tapping and broaching: 8 - 10 %
Refractometer factor: 1.1
Water hardness range: 50 - 800 ppm CaCO₃ (5 - 45 °dH)
