Syntilo 81 E is a synthetic coolant especially designed as a general purpose grinding fluid for ferrous metals.
Castrol Syntilo 81 E provides great corrosion protection to machine tools and parts. It contains boric acid for better stability and corrosion protection, but it is free from formaldehyde releasing components.
The fluid rejects the tramp oil to its surface which helps the oil removal.
Recommended concentrations:
Grinding: 3-5 %
Refractometer factor: 1.5
Castrol Minilabor factor: 0.4
Water hardness range: 20 - 600 ppm CaCO₃
