Techniclean AS 58 is a hydrocarbon solvent cleaner. It is fast drying with residue-free finish, low-viscosity and chlorine-free. This cleaner is based on mild odour isoparaffin solvent.
Techniclean AS 58 can be used as an alternative to chlorinated solvent cleaners and high aromatic containing hydrocarbon solvent cleaners. It has good solvency power and is compatible with all metal and non-metal substrates. It shows good solvency properties regarding animal and vegetable fats and mineral oils.
With Techniclean AS 58 no waste water is produced in the cleaning process, because the solvent can be recycled through distillation.
Typical characteristics:
Viscosity at 20 °C: 1.5 mm2/sec
Flash point, closed cup method: >56 °C
Initial boiling point: >173 °C
Dry boiling point: 198 °C
Aromatic content: <100 ppm
